[News] The Last Story Pushed Back to August

2

RPG fans looking to get their hands on the newest masterpiece from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi might have to wait a bit longer. Word from Amazon has it that the publisher of The Last Story, XSEED Games, has delayed the game’s release until August 3rd. This is a nearly month-long delay from the game’s previously announced rumored July 10th release, and incredibly unfortunate news considering the game’s all-around impressive reviews.

We are currently reaching out to XSEED for confirmation in this matter, but for the time being, it’s probably safe to assume that the agonizing wait for The Last Story’s localization may have gotten a bit longer.

We’ll keep you updated as the situation develops.

UPDATE: The official word from XSEED came in. That July 10th release we were gunning for? Well, that wasn’t an exact date anyway:

“Hi Zack, we actually never announced a release date for the game, so it has not been delayed. Amazon is just moving their placeholder date. We’ll let you know when we have an official release date. Thanks.
