Sega Buys Atlus

Seems legit.

Sonic the Persona 5 Battle Golden Edition? Maybe. After Atlus’ parent company, Index Corporation filed for civil rehabilitation awhile back, a lot of people became concerned about the future of the RPG powerhouse. However, things have taken a turn for the better after Sega acquired the development/publishing team at a price of 14 billion yen. They’ll be adding Atlus to their growing list of acquisitions for this year alongside Relic Entertainment.

What does this mean for Atlus games? Only time will tell. But I’m guessing no one would be opposed to a Persona/Sonic crossover, am I right?
