Assassin’s Creed Movie Desynchronized, to be Rewritten

Are you excited about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender? If you are…well, you might want to have a seat. It turns out the script is going to be undergoing a complete rewrite by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage. This has the potential to be good news in the end however, as both writers have made a name for themselves of late with scripts for Exodus: Gods & Kings as well as The General (a biopic about George Washington) for Darren Aronofsky. Clearly these guys have a knack for writing about historical epic stories, which (in case you’re new around here) is right in the Assassin’s Creed wheelhouse.

According to IMDB, the release date for Assassin’s Creed is still set for August 7, 2015.
