Metal Gear Solid V: GZ’s Deja Vu and Jamais Vu Missions To Drop Platform Exclusivity

Kojima’s video webcast series, Kojima Station, revealed an interesting update on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes today. Apparently, the two console-exclusive missions, Jamais Vu for the XBOX and Deja Vu for PlayStation, will both be made available for download on 1st May in Japan.

The Deju Vu mission, which was exclusive to the PS3 and PS4, features the classic polygon model of Solid Snake sneaking around Camp Omega and recreating iconic scenes from Metal Gear Solid 1.

The Jamais Vu mission, previously exclusive to the XBOX 360 and XBOX One, has players take control of Raiden as he hunts for Body-Snatchers on Camp Omega.

I got Ground Zeroes for the PS4 and thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgic trip that Deja Vu provided, but I’ll be more than happy to jump into Raiden’s shoes as well.

I think we can expect an official announcement from Konami on this matter soon.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is available now on PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, and XBOX One. And you can check out our review of the game here.

Hello! I'm a history major who loves playing video games and writing about them. I live and breathe for Metal Gear Solid, and I believe that The Last of Us is quite possibly the greatest video game ever made. Also if you're having trouble pronouncing my name (which you probably are), lots of people have taken to just calling me Zee!
