Google’s May the Fourth Be With You Sale is Lame

I, like many of you, grew up on the Star Wars films, toys, games, and merchandise. The idea of the May 4th holiday to me has always been ridiculous, but it grew out of a warm place for a lot of Star Wars fans. Now that it has reached the mainstream level (as last nights dedicated Big Bang Theory episode would prove), many organizations are running specials on their Star Wars products. Google isn’t one to sit out on this so they’ve posted their May the Fourth Be With You sale and it’s pretty meh.

The biggest sales are on books since there isn’t any games actually on sale. The game sales are on the unlockable in-app purchases inside. So if you have been dying for more levels in Star Wars Pinball, now’s your chance to pick them up. Otherwise, there isn’t much here to get your average Star Wars fan’s heart aflutter.
