Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Gets 3 New Screenshots

1

It’s disappointing to hear that Kojima’s E3 presentation for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be a closed doors one with only select press members invited to check out his new gameplay trailer. Still, he sure knows how to keep the fans excited by tossing a few screenshots our way.

Shown above are the screenshots featuring Big Boss and Kazuhira Miller, both of which are undoubtedly two of the main characters in the title. With the FOX Engine being utilized for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, I can only imagine that the game itself will look almost as good as what we see in these high-res screenshots.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released for the PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, and XBOX One, though no release date has been confirmed just yet. We’ll keep you updated as any news from E3 2014 comes our way.

Hello! I'm a history major who loves playing video games and writing about them. I live and breathe for Metal Gear Solid, and I believe that The Last of Us is quite possibly the greatest video game ever made. Also if you're having trouble pronouncing my name (which you probably are), lots of people have taken to just calling me Zee!

For the longest time I didn’t realise it was a slide show and I was looking for the other 2. Interesting screens, I think Kaz might end up being the real star of the show, watching him go from a happy-go-lucky guy to an angry disfigured man should make for a compelling story. I wonder if Kaz will cross paths with Eli in the game, I’m sure Kojima wouldn’t pass up the opportunity for some foreshadowing.

Also, E3 would be a nice time to show off MGO3, I’d like to see what KojiPro L.A. have done so far.
