Arkham Knight vs Origins vs City vs Asylum Comparison Screens Show Exciting Batman Improvements Over the Years

Beginning with Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009 and ending with the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, the Arkham series will have run for a solid six years before it reaches its end. Each new title brings changes and improvements upon its predecessor. Let’s take a look at just how the series has evolved with each of its new entries.

Naturally, there is no surprise that each additional entry looks better; that’s exactly what 6+ years of work and a transition to a newer, more powerful console will do for development. Of course, Batman: Arkham Knight has obviously not yet released, so the below comparisons should only be treated as initial impressions until the final build is released and made available for critique.

Each comparison collage consists of Arkham Asylum in the upper left, Arkham City in the upper right, Arkham Origins in the lower left, and Arkham Knight in the lower right. Within, we’ll look at changes in environment detail, Commissioner James Gordon, gliding over Gotham, and of course, Batman himself.

[Note: To make sure you see the differences as clearly as possible, be sure to click each image and expand it so that you can see an enlarged version of the comparison.]

Just below, you can see the changes in environment detail through each entry.

In my opinion knight will probably be the best but so far the list goes Arkham-Asylum, Arkham Origins and Arkham-City again that’s just my opinion.
