Video games afford you the opportunity to do a lot of things; explore new worlds, be a hero, or gain bragging rights amongst friends. Sometimes, however, you just want to be able to beat the crap out of somebody. Fortunately we live in a world where UFC exists, and thanks to EA you can start doing that today because the demo for EA Sports UFC is now available.
The demo itself consists of the full tutorial system, so you can get a little bit of an early head-start on learning all the moves, countermoves, and combos that you’ll need in order to dominate. As for the playable bit, EA is giving you the opportunity to play out what was acknowledged as the ‘fight of 2013.’
…enter the Octagon® as either light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones or his no. 1 contender Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson. Re-write history in this virtual rematch and push the two cover athletes to their limits for a maximum of three rounds, or end it all early with your own TKO or submission win.
This is a cool idea for a demo; being able to re-enact the most famous moment of the previous year in whatever way you’d like. So, whether you’re a submission hold specialist or whether you like pounding away on an opponent like a coked out maniac, this game will give you that golden opportunity.
EA Sports UFC Demo is available for Xbox One and PS4, and the full game will be coming to those systems on June 17, 2014.
