EA Access – EA’s Subscription Service Only On Xbox One

EA has announced a new subscription service that will allow players to play many titles for a relatively low price: “EA Access.”

In partnership with Microsoft, EA Access subscribers will be given access to a collection of EA titles on the Xbox One called “The Vault.” During the beta which will be running for a limited number of invited users now, gamers will have unlimited access to four EA titles: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4. The service will cost $4.99 a month or$29.99 for a year’s subscription.

Additionally, EA Access will also give subscribers a 10% discount on all EA digital content including full games and DLC and access to trials of new EA games nearly a week before they come out. The game progress made within those trials will be able to be copied over to the full game when purchased. Titles with the save copy-over feature are Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

EA Access is currently in beta and will be available to all Xbox One owners “soon.”
