Persona 5: Who Igor’s Voice Actor Is

Igor’s Voice Actor in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Igor is a prominent character in the Persona series, having appeared since the beginning and making an appearance in just about every piece of media revolving around the franchise. He guides the protagonist and is the proprietor of the Velvet Room. He always has a distinct voice, but his previous Japanese voice actor, Isamu Tanonaka, from the previous entries passed away some time ago, so Persona 5 introduces someone new to take on such an important role.

His new Japanese voice actor is Masane Tsukayama who has appeared in other video games such as Fate/Stay night Realta Nua as Zoken Mato and White Knight Chronicles as Eldore. He’s voiced characters in several anime as well including Lupin III, Witch Hunter Robin, Fullmetal Alchemist and Fate/Zero.

The English side of things also sees a new voice actor in David Lodge. He’s no stranger to games having appeared most recently in Skylanders as Chop-Chop, D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die as Forrest Kaysen, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time as Toothpick. He lends his deep voice to the Velvet Room in Persona 5 to add a bit more gravitas to the situation.
