God Eater 2: Rage Burst – How to Activate Burst

Burst – God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Recommended Videos

Burst is actually an ability that you have from the moment you start God Eater 2: Rage Burst. It is activated by devouring a living Aragami, from using a Burst Inducer consumable item, or from being triggered by a companion’s Blood Art. You’ll want to always keep it active as it provides a list of perks to the player:

  • Raises movement speed and step distance.
  • Provides the double jump ability.
  • Increases Attack.
  • Increases Attack speed.
  • Increases Defense
  • Adds passive recovery of Oracle Power.
  • Lowers the chance of getting knocked back (only really powerful Aragami can cause this now).
  • Lowers stamina consumption.

Once you trigger Burst, a small meter will appear at the bottom of your screen. It will decrease over time, but you can keep it active by continuing to devour live Aragami, or having a companion use their Blood Art (Julius actually starts the game with this Blood Art).

The level of your Burst can be increased up to level 3, though you can’t reach it by simply continuing to devour Aragami. You’ll need an ally to increase your level by firing Link Bullets at you. This will boost your power even more and allow you to access more abilities, such as a concentrated shot from your firearm.
