Goat Simulator Hits Xbox Consoles this April

Microsoft has announced that the popular PC title that allows players to control destructive goats, Goat Simulator, is coming to Xbox consoles this April.

Goat Simulator, the ridiculously addictive and chaotic game that is like no other, has been announced by Microsoft that it will be releasing on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles this April.

For those of you who haven’t played the game yet, Goat Simulator puts players in control of (you guessed it) a goat, where you can explore an open-world environment, and complete challenges and objectives by causing unbearable amounts of damage by means of your hooves, horns, and every little part of your goat body.

Originally for PC, the game was developed by Coffee Stain Studios. However, with the port to the Xbox consoles in April, the development team over at Double Eleven has taken over. As April 1 will mark the one-year anniversary of Goat Simulator‘s initial launch, that might be why Microsoft has decided to take the initiative in bringing the game over to consoles.

Though pricing nor the official release date have been unveiled as of yet, Goat Simulator is currently available on PC for $10.

It has not yet been confirmed or denied  if the game’s MMO expansion will make it to consoles, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
