God of War 3: Remastered Was Announced and Twitter is Disgruntled with “PortStation 4″

Another day, another beloved classic being remastered into glorious HD for the latest generation of consoles. God of War 3: Remastered was announced earlier this week for the PlayStation 4 in celebration of God of War’s tenth birthday. This marks one of many remasters that have made up the PlayStation 4’s somewhat limited first-party library so far, and fans had a lot to say about it.

Whether people were unhappy with the increasing frequency of remasters over the years or over the moon about being able to play one of their favorite games on a new system, it’s safe to say the reaction was somewhat mixed favoring disappointment.

Here’s a roundup of Twitter’s opinions on the God of War 3: Remastered announcement.

PortStation 4 is an interesting new title.

Some people are visibly excited.

Others more defensively excited.

Is the remaster an indication of games to come?

Valid point. Maybe they’re trying to get people to play the other titles on PS Now?

Uncharted Remastered WOULD be pretty nice…

God of War 3 was a nice looking game. How much better can it get, we wonder?

Some were exasperated by the news of yet another Remaster.

What do you think about Sony’s decision to release God of War 3: Remastered? Are there too many Remasters this generation, or is it a good move? Let us know in the comments below!
