Batman: Arkham Collection Revealed for PS4 and Xbox One?

Fans of the dark knight rejoice, as a Batman: Arkham Collection will reportedly be hitting both PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.

The reveal comes by way of a source close to IGN Italy, who details the collection as containing HD remakes of the both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. It should be noted that while both Rocksteady developed Batman games are included in the collection, it does not appear that the prequel Batman: Arkham Origins will be included in the package.

Details at this point in time are sparse, however it does appear that the  all games included in the collection will run at 1080p and will be released at some point during the Christmas season.

Though this is potentially exciting news, no official word has been offered by Rocksteady Studios or Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment at this point.

This marks a particularly notable news day for Batman and the Arkham series, as today the latest entries in the franchise, Batman: Arkham Knight, was hit with its second delay; and will now launch on June 23, 2015.

How do you feel about the rumored Arkham Collection? Do you feel that Arkham Origins should be included? Let us know in the comments.
