January had started off 2016 a bit slowly, but it still managed to squeeze in a few worthwhile titles. February definitely kicks things up a notch, though, in terms of game releases over the next few weeks. Huge blockbuster titles, fun little indies, and everything in between await gamers in the shortest month of the year.
Week One (Feb. 1 – Feb. 6)
Februrary starts things off with a nice crowd of indies, an amazing murder mystery, the resurgence of Digimon on consoles, and a highly anticipated sequel. Every platform gets a bit of love this week, but the biggest game is easily the PC exclusive XCOM 2. The sequel to the critically acclaimed reboot is finally being made available so you can see just how good at keeping your troops alive you really are.
If you’re not into the whole strategic side of things, Gravity Rush Remastered brings an amazing handheld game to the big screen, and Agatha Christie: The A.B.C. Murders leaves you solving a string of murders. And, if all else fails, you can just give up and drive across some states in American Truck Simulator.
