Another week means another of Activision’s “Tracklist Tuesdays”. Today they revealed another ten tracks for their upcoming music game Guitar Hero Live.
The tracks this week don’t follow the same style as last week though. Whereas last week’s tracks were more on the metal side, this week’s span a wide range of genres. Hey you can never have too much variety, am I right?
Players will get to strum along to the likes of “Mind Your Manners” by Pearl Jam, and the classic that is “Tribute” by Tenacious D. If Activision didn’t already have your attention with Guitar Hero Live, they more than likely do now.
We’ve listed all ten of the new additions to the tracklist below:
- A Day to Remember – “Right Back at it Again”
- Anthrax – “Got the Time”
- Architects – “Gravedigger”
- Beartooth – “I Have a Problem”
- Chevelle – “The Clincher”
- Halestorm – “Love Bites (So Do I)”
- Pearl Jam – “Mind Your Manners”
- Rise Against – “Tragedy + Time”
- Soundgarden – “Been Away Too Long”
- Tenacious D – “Tribute”
While Activision has told us that these songs will be playable on Guitar Hero Live, they have not distinguished whether they will be on-disc tracks or part of the online mode, Guitar Hero TV.
Guitar Hero TV will throw gamers into a TV channel with music playing. Wannabe rockstars will jump in and start playing the song from wherever they join in. Players will also be matched against fellow gamers that match their skillset. Sounds all technical and nifty if you ask me, but definitely sounds like it could bring a breath of fresh air to the genre.
These ten new songs bring the total tracklist for Guitar Hero Live to a total of 47 confirmed songs. Don’t fear though, Guitar Hero Live is set to offer “hundreds” of songs according to Activision.
