Rash Jumps into the Killer Instinct Roster Prematurely Today

Battletoads Rash jumps into the fight... for a month anyway.

At today’s Xbox Gamescom conference, Microsoft announced and revealed tons of information about upcoming titles, but possibly the most unexpected announcement was the news that Battletoads Rash will be part of Season 3 of Killer Instinct.

While Season 3 of Killer Instincts isn’t due to come out until next year, some players can play as the Battletoad right now, though not for long. Sadly, Rash will only be playable until September 8, where he will then be removed from the game until the release of Season 3. This will serve as a test period for the character. Rash will be playable to anybody who either purchases Rare Replay or any DLC for Killer Instinct.

As a fighter, Rash will be able to use his tongue for ranged attacks, as well as increase the size of his foot to launch his opponents. He will also be able to rush into his enemies using a speeder bike and turn into a wrecking ball to hit enemies in the air. Season 3 of Killer Instincts will be released for the Xbox One and Windows 10 on March 2016.

What’s your opinion of Rash being Killer Instincts first guest character and what other characters would you like to see make it into the game? Let us know in the comments below1
