Bethesda Gets Into Details on Fallout 4 DLC and Mods

Mo' adventures, mo' Vaults.

Fallout 4 is two months away, and Bethesda’s already talking about post launch support. There’s going to be DLC, of course, but they won’t be hitting right away. Add-ons will start popping up in early 2016, and there’ll be a $30 season pass available, which will save at least $10 for those who purchase it.

As far as mods go, Bethesda said that the creation kit won’t be hitting PC until early 2016 as well, which means that Xbox One (and eventually PS4) owners won’t get it until later next year as well. It could very well be the spring or summer by the time console owners get their own Fallout 4 creation kit.

Bethesda will be looking towards the community for post-launch updates. When asked about what to expect, they referenced legendary mode and kill cams from Skyrim as examples. They also said that they’ll be listening to the community to help direct its efforts.
