Spike Chunsoft took the stage at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference today to announce the next entry in the acclaimed Danganronpa franchise, New Danganronpa V3. It appears to be going back to the murder mystery roots of the franchise, stepping back from the previous entry, Ultra Despair Girls, which was a third person shooter. New Danganronpa V3.

There wasn’t all that much information to go on just yet, but series creater Kazutaka Kodaka says that we can expect more information soon.
Few series seem to have developed the passionate following that Danganronpa has over the past few years, so it’s good to see that Spike Chunsoft is still going strong with the franchise.
