Titan Comics Announces New Assassin’s Creed Comic Series at NYCC

Assassin's Creed: Templars will be the second comic book series set in the AC universe.

There will be a new comic series set in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Announced today at New York Comic Con, a new series titled Assassin’s Creed: Templars will debut in 2016. The announcement was made today by industry veterans Fred Van Lente and Dennis Calero. Van Lente is a writer known for his work on Marvel Zombies while Calero is an artist who worked on the graphic novel 28 Days Later: The Aftermath and the X-Men Noir series.

According to CBR (Comic Book Resources), there is also another AC comic book project in development that is right now only known as “Assassin’s Creed”. This is separate from Assassin’s Creed: Templars which will be the second comic series set in Ubisoft’s AC universe.

Of course, this isn’t the only Assassin’s Creed news for fans to look forward to as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be out later this month on Oct. 20.
