Whether you’re a fan of Destiny, Star Wars, or both, you should be able to appreciate Youtube user Sam Goodey‘s genius creation. It’s a Youtube video using the audio from a recent trailer for the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens combined with beautifully chosen scenes from the video game Destiny. If you haven’t yet seen the original Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer, you might want to check that out first for a point of reference.

The connections that are made in this video are impressive. When hearing the audio for the trailer from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one might not immediately think of Destiny. But when paired with Sam Goodey’s expertly selected video clips, it makes perfect sense.
In the Youtube comment section, the video has been generating a lot of positive feedback with one comment going as far as to suggest that Bungie should hire him to make their trailers. At one point in the comments. there’s also a small controversy where Yotube user 4th Division Gaming claims to have had the idea to make this video first.
If you look through a few more of Sam Goodey’s videos, you’ll see that there are actually several different movie trailer mash ups that are paired up with Destiny, including a Guardians of the Galaxy one that is pretty funny to watch.
