Piper
Piper can be found in Diamond City, and reaching the max relationship with her will give you the Gift of Gab perk. This perk doubles the experience gained upon discovering new locations and passing speech challenges.

How to Max Out Companion Relationship Levels in Fallout 4
Preston
Preston can be found at the Museum of Freedom, and maxing out your affinity with him will give you the United We Stand perk. This perk 20% extra damage and damage resistance when fighting 3 or more enemies
