[News] New Trailer Released for Dragon Quest Monsters 3D
Square Enix recently released a brand new trailer for their upcoming 3DS exclusive, Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D.
The game is a full remake of the very first Dragon Quest Monsters game which was released way back in 2000 for North America. This lengthy trailer shows off the some interesting locations, monster fusion, as well as using Miis during online battles.
Dragon Quest Monsters 3D is slated for release in Japan on May 31st. While a release date for North America has yet to be announced, the previous two titles in the series, Joker and Joker 2, found their way across the Pacific. If that’s any indication, I predict a solid NA release date in the coming months.

I find that the ability to use characters that don’t look like Akira Toriyama characters greatly dampens my enthusiasm for this game. Part of the appeal of the series to me are the carbon copies of DBZ characters.
What exactly are you talking about? As far as the monsters, and the style of art for the npcs and Terry, there really isn’t much of a change from the original. The story and world also appears to be intact. If Nintendo or Square Enix decided to allow online players to use Mii avatars, big deal, no one ever said you had to like what your opponent looks like. Personally, after the absurd idiocy of the last two new DQM games, a return to the original game which caught my interest years ago is something I’m extremely excited about (still keep a GBC and GBA for those times that I feel like some good old nostalgia). I can’t wait to breed myself my old team and run off through some random dungeons to farm some Metabbles.
Umm… Part of the appeal is. I know English, you guys. I really do.
