[News] New Dragon Quest X trailer hits the web

Hot on the heels of today’s announcement for the Japanese release date of Dragon Quest X (which is August 2nd, not that it matters much to us Westerners), Square Enix tantalizes Wii and future Wii U owners with a brand new trailer.

After a peak at some early story elements and playable races, the first thing you may notice is that characters can jump. Oh, yes. Jump. As in up in the air. And Square Enix wants you to know by having our heroic demo party frolic along in every locale.

Once again, the cell shaded visuals lend their gorgeous form to the Dragon Quest series making the characters and (especially) enemies pop off the screen, while the outdoor locations look simply massive. Check out the trailer below.
