[News] Dark Souls: Prepare to Die (PC) Minimum Specs Revealed
In an official Gamestop listing of the Prepare to Die edition of last year’s critically acclaimed Dark Souls, there is now an official listing of the minimum requirements on PC. While not too demanding, I’m sure if you expect it to run similarly to your PS3 or your Xbox 360, you’ll need just a bit of beef on your gaming rig. Oddly enough, it will support the discontinued Windows XP Operating System.
The specs are as follows:

- Special Controllers: Multi-player requires microphone headset support
- DirectX: DirectX® 9.0c
- Hard Drive Space: 4 GB Available Hard Drive Space
- Operating System: Windows® XP / Vista / 7
- Processor: 2.6 GHz Dual-Core Processor
- RAM: 1 GB Available System Memory XP; 2 GB Vista / 7
- Video Card: 512 MB Video Card (ATI Radeon 4850 or higher; NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher)
