[News] TGS Trailer for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
No matter how much I make fun of the title for this little 3DS game, it doesn’t change the fact that it is currently one of my most anticipated titles. And that’s coming from a guy who doesn’t even like JRPGs.
The Tokyo Game Show is happening as we speak and with it a new trailer for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Square-Enix’s oddly titled 3DS JRPG throwback. In it you get a look at some gorgeous CG cutscenes and a look at the main characters, battle and customization options. YOU CAN MAKE THE LEGGY BLACK HAIRED HEROINE WEAR DIFFERENT OUTFITS!
…Sorry, I lost my cool for a moment.
All in all the game is looking to be something spectacular and I am eating every bit of news that comes out for the game.

Get back to us a) when you get the title right and b) when it comes out in America.
Ah thanks for that. I try to pretend the title is something else whenever I read about it.
Currently it is “Leggy Fairy JRPG That I Actually Want to Play” but I can see why Square-Enix would be hesitant to name it that. It doesn’t really roll of the tongue.
When I first heard of this, I thought it was another game set in the Brave Story universe. Haha. I heard that the game’s battle and job systems are similar to Final Fantasy V though. That combined with the trailer makes me wish I owned a 3DS. JRPGs are my favorite things to play, particularly because I’m OVERLY fond of turn-based battles.
