Four Hour Cross Country Races to be Featured in The Crew

The world is your oyster in the upcoming driving title The Crew. Julian Gerighty, creative director of the game revealed in an interview with GamerHubTV that The Crew will contain a number of huge optional races; one of which takes you from coast-to-coast across the United States, and another that has you racing along the perimeter of the country. It all sounds insane and like it’d take a really long time, but it also sounds awesome.

In fact, he said that the coast-to-coast race could take around one hour and a half, unless you go offroad and it might take another hour. The perimeter races could take well over four hours, so you’d better be sure to be properly prepare yourself. Of course, this is all optional, but if you’re up for the challenge, you are more than welcome to get in on the action.

The Crew will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime later this year; we’ll be sure to update you with a release date once it comes around. You can check out our preview of the game from when we got the chance to play an early build of the game at PAX Prime 2013. And would you be willing to take part in one of those insane races?
