The countdown, superimposed with the initials BRCS, indicates 7 days until the reveal and features an anime-esque artwork showcasing a busty, leather-clad heroine with a dagger of sorts. She also happens to feature prominently the symbol seen in another series, BloodRayne. In addition is a play on Nietzsche’s famous quote: “She who fights monsters might take care lest [...]

You might not have heard of Milestone S.r.L. They’re not Criterion or Turn 10, but the Italian developer has been relentlessly pushing out motorbike and rally racing sims for twenty years, and while that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, they’ve certainly won the hearts of whom’s it is. As a token of appreciation for the people who come back every year to drool over the fidelity of MotoGP, World Racing Championships and SBK, their website now allows users to upload a picture of [...]

PAX East – Fenix Rage Hands-On Impressions

Fenix Rage is by far the best game I have played at PAX East. Costa Rica-based Green Lava Studios front-man, Eduardo Ramirez has an impeccable knack for level design as well as mechanics, and it shows. Fenix Rage is polished beyond belief. The main character, Fenix, controlled like an extension of my thumbs. I had a laugh to myself when Eduardo first told me, “it was all about getting the cookie.” Sounds a bit like a sexual innuendo, right? I couldn’t help [...]

You can feel the same sense of unknown in their “Pause” trailer for the game. This is looking to be a very intriguing adventure [...]

PAX East – Game 4 Has Been Revealed From the Behemoth

I’m always cautious when the Behemoth announces a new project. The studio is a fine developer, but they are also one that take on a Miyamoto-esque approach to their launch dates. Hopefully this isn’t being revealed too early. Destructoid has revealed that Game 4 is in the works and that it stars a horribly deformed spider cupcake equipped with a catapult to fling what I hope is icing. This should be right in line with the humor we’ve come to [...]
