Release Date for Vita Port of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Announced

The fighting continues as yet another BlazBlue series is soon to hit North American stores. On June 24th BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma (what does that even mean?) will be available in both retail stores and on the Playstation Store for the Vita. Being functionally pretty much the same as the Playstation 3 version of a few weeks back, it will include all of the same fighters, as well as ‘an additional story, an enhanced Abyss Mode and a recap of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum [...]

PAX East – Godfire: Rise of Prometheus Hands-On Impressions

Vivid Games’ GodFire: Rise of Prometheus looks like a very expensive mobile version of Ryse. It is shockingly similar in a multitude of ways, especially, in terms of the combat, which revolves around blocking blows from enemies and countering with a flurry off well-timed heavy and light attacks, hopefully, resulting in a blood-tacular execution. This may sound like a recipe for disaster, but the game manages to pull it off — even with a thin layer of jank. Firstly, the [...]

It didn’t necessarily put players behind the tip of the controlled plane, but it really helped to push the stark, [...]

Earthbound Lives in This New Citizens of Earth Teaser

After a failed Kickstarter campaign, the RPG adventure Citizens of Earth was fortunate enough to be picked up by publisher Atlus to help bring it to the world successfully. Since then, the game has come along very nicely, and its latest teaser trailers shows its heavy influences from the Nintendo’s classic Earthbound more than ever. Instead of a child imbued with psychokinetic abilities, however, Citizens of Earth has you playing as Vice President of the World, recruiting various citizens to [...]
