The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Not on Xbox One…Yet?

Are your spidey senses tingling at the thought of playing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on your shiny new Xbox One? I hope not, because you’re in for some mighty disappointing news. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available April 29 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS…but not the Xbox One. The first hint that something was amiss was when Activision pulled the Xbox One box art from the game’s site. Since then, Activision has commented, “We are [...]

Martin O’Donnell Ousted From Bungie “Without Cause”

This is some shocking news; Martin O’Donnell, longtime in-house composer of Bungie Studios, the creators of Halo and the upcoming Destiny, has been let go from the developer after a 13 year stint. Its not just that he was let go, however; to hear O’Donnell state it, it sounds like he was forced out. Taking to Twitter today to announce the departure, O’Donnell said “I’m saddened to say that Bungie’s board of directors terminated me without cause on April 11, 2014.” [...]

Activision Teases A Predator DLC For Call of Duty: Ghosts

Allow me to gush/rant for a moment on two things: Predator is one of the greatest films ever made, and I think Call of Duty: Ghosts is a fetid, awful, racist game that is far and away the worst one in the series. The only way in hell you could get me to play Ghosts again is to facilitate some combination of the two. And since there’s no way of tha- Oh. Wait. Activision released this Instagram video today, teasing [...]

Next-Gen Gamers: Skylanders Swap Force – Buy In to Bountiful Fun

Next-Gen Gamers is a feature where I explore the world of gaming through the eyes of my kids – literally the next generation of gamers, raised in a house that promotes playing together and sharing our time! It’ll look at games that appeal to kids more than adults, as well as those that are great for both, either through cooperative play or controller sharing. By now, I figure most people are aware of the Skylanders series, and probably its latest outing, Skylanders [...]

Marvel Games Are Disappearing From Steam, PSN, And Xbox Live

Gamers took notice early this morning after a NeoGAF user pointed out that the High Moon Studios’ adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Deadpool had conspicuously disappeared off every major digital gaming platform; Steam, Playstation Network, and Xbox Live are all missing the Merc with a Mouth’s latest video game outing, which received less than stellar reviews when it launched earlier this year. But that’s hardly a reason to drop a game from every digital network imaginable, so what happened? Well, Game Informer did [...]

Bungie has finally announced the release date for their highly anticipated title, Destiny. Bungie’s official statement can be read below. “There should be a stage in every product where the ludicrous is thought possible, where the team blazes trails right to the edge of the abyss in a hundred directions. Only through great risks are great things truly achieved.  Destiny has always represented a new beginning for our team. It was born from brave possibilities. We dreamed of a renewed [...]
