EA Sports revealed today that martial arts icon Bruce Lee will be brought into EA Sports UFC. According to creative director Brian Hayes, Lee is a “martial artist renowned for his philosophies that laid the groundwork for modern mixed martial arts” and this was what prompted the decision to put him in the game. Amy Hennig, writer and creative director on Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series, has joined EA Visceral games on their upcoming Star Wars project. EA’s blog discusses the process that led these two creative forces together. Over the last few weeks, Amy and I have spent a lot of time talking about what her first project would be. There are a lot of different directions we could have gone, but I could sense that what really excited her about this opportunity (because [...]

Titanfall Figurines Will Be Online Soon From Threezero Toys

The Titans of Titanfall have sort of become the mascots of the next-generation for me. Nothing has so made me feel like I’m in the next generation like ripping some poor bastard out of his Titan mid battle with my giant steel hand of doom and destruction. They also have the side effect of making me really, really want some Titan action figures because I am a child. Fortunately, Threezero Toys is going to fulfill my dreams; they now have [...]

EA Flash Sale Hits PSN With A Gang Of PS3 Games

EA and Sony have teamed up to bring you a slew of games on sale for the PlayStation 3. The sale starts today and will continue through Monday, March 31st at 12:00 p.m. Pacific. This is the part where I give you purchasing advice: Firstly, if you have not played Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning (the title is admittedly dumb), you should, because it is the best action role-playing game you’re going to get for ten bucks. Secondly, do not by Battlefield 4. Chances are it [...]

EA Loses the Chance to Threepeat as Worst Company in America

Threepeats are hard. Unless you’re Michael Jordan or Kobe/Shaq. EA has won the title of Worst Company in America the last two years running, and many assumed that they would take the crown again. Underdogs Time Warner Cable however, weren’t going to go down without a fight. Hot on the heels of the Net Neutrality fiasco, TWC came out swinging and downed the champs in the first round of voting. On a more serious note, it’s good to finally see [...]
