Remember the announcement revealing that Tomb Raider, an upcoming 2013 release, will have multiplayer? PC Gamer released details and footage today of the multiplayer side of the game, which is being developed by Eidos Montreal (devs of Deus Ex: Human Revolution). [News] Tomb Raider Will Have Multiplayer

PC Gamer announced today that its upcoming game Tomb Raider will have a multiplayer component. This is a big change of pace from the past Tomb Raider games, which were purely single-player. Crystal Dynamics will be outsourcing the multiplayer project to Eidos Montreal, the team behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution (which didn’t have a multiplayer mode, by the way). Nothing is known right now of what the multiplayer mode will entail. Will it be a pleasant surprise or an unwelcome disaster?
