Smite Universe is Expanding With Turn Based Strategy Game, Smite Tactics

Smite Tactics is taking the Smite Universe to the next level with a different take on the traditional gameplay by introducing turn-based strategy combat. Hi-Rez studios wanted to introduce a new take on the Smite series while maintaining the focus of the different gods as the core gameplay. Smite Tactics will introduce new turn-based gameplay with TCG elements as well. Unlike traditional turn-based RPG’s, Smite Tactics is ensuring that finished game will have highly detailed attack animations for not only the heroes, but for the side characters, such as minions as well.

There is no information on when the game is slated to be released but the beta is open for registration.
