The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt finally sees its release today and to celebrate this momentous occasion, we’ve taken quite a few screenshots of the game for your perusal. The screenshots, which you can check out in the gallery below, feature the game’s environments, cutscenes, and a glimpse of the battle system.

The environments have been beautifully rendered and the lighting effects look incredibly gorgeous. The screenshots contain very minor spoilers for the game’s prologue, including Geralt’s encounter with the Royal Griffin, which is the first mandatory monster you have to take down. We also get a quick look at the boat-steering mechanics in the game.

Our review for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still a work in progress, given the length of the game and our desire to provide as objective a review as possible. The game is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
