Frostpunk is the New Survival Game from the Creators of This War Of Mine

Warm up.

11 bit Studios provided an emotional engaging experience with This War Of Mine a few years back, and now they’ve announced Frostpunk, their latest title that also deals with themes of survival. You can check out the teaser trailer down below.

We didn’t get any actual gameplay footage, but the teaser itself does a pretty good job of setting the tone that we can expect from the game. The game will also feature survival and management elements set in a frozen cyberpunk world. Here’s a brief description of the game:

‘Frostpunk takes on what people are capable of when pushed to the limits. What interests us is what society do to survive and how it changes in the process. How survival in the end leaves us different beings. If worse, better, stronger, weaker or, last but not least, more or less humane – that is debatable.’

From the looks of the teaser trailer, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being just as dark as This War Of Mine. Fans can expect to see Frostpunk on PC in early 2017.
